Last night Nasvhille was taken over by ten gallon hats, cowboy boots and a lot of drunk country music fans as they packed the Bridgestone Arena for the 2014 CMT Music Awards.
Well, there’s no surprise here! Why wouldn’t you want the two girls with two of the biggest songs in the country right now performing?
Jason Derulo may be out of the country right now touring Australia, but that’s not stopping all kinds of fun with his current hit “Talk Dirty To Me” from happening in the States.
“My first album was written when I was 19-years-old. I wanted to be sure this album was far different from that one, to make sure that the growth was present.”
The album will feature appearances from Snoop Dogg, Tyga and Kid Ink. Among the production credits are such chart heavyweights as Timbaland, DJ Mustard and RedOne.
For Jason Derulo, the only thing better than talking dirty, is talking dirty with celebrities.
“I’m very open. Some songs on the album are difficult to listen to at times. There is a very emotional part of the album.”
Instead of creating a universal video that taps into the idea of marriage as a communally joyful experience, Derulo gives us a glimpse into his own personal life — or does he?
“‘Vertigo’ is one of the products of the happier studio sessions. It’s very stripped down and piano based so you can hear every emotion. You can almost see the story in your head.”
“I’m very very honest on this album,” he said. “I’m very open. Some songs on the album are difficult to listen to at times. There is a very emotional part of the album.”
