A 24-year-old man who died at this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas died of an Ecstasy overdose, authorities say.
Electric Daisy Carnival promoter Pasquale Rotella took to his Instagram account over the weekend to warn fans against buying scalped tickets to this year’s EDC in Las Vegas set for this weekend (June 20-22), announcing that more passes had been released in an effort to accommodate demand.

Like Coachella, annual EDM festival Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas has become a destination event that can sell out on the strength of the brand long before a lineup is even announced.
The star-studded event is set for Memorial Day weekend, and will boast appearances from a wide assortment of EDM favorites, including Krewella and Martin Garrix.
Originally launched in Los Angeles back in 1997, Electric Daisy Carnival has grown into America’s premier EDM destination festival.
