MTV announced today (Aug. 7) that Beyoncé will be given the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards.
Ah, rivalries. What fun.
The DJ credited with coining the term “Rock ‘n’ Roll” had a prominent exhibit in the museum — that is, until today.
At that same show, police arrested 10 additional people. Eight of those arrested were for public drunkenness, while the two others were taken in for ticket scalping during the event.
The track, off Beyoncé’s self-titled surprise album from late 2013, gets an upgrade toward its end from Minaj, as well as a new sample of an OutKast song, “SpottieOttieDopalicious.”

Beyoncé is the midst of a big tour with her other half, Jay Z, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have time to have fun on Instagram.
“After a while, Jay was out doing Jay and Bey was out doing Bey.”
HBO’s On the Run tour special has an official run date in September.
The Beygency may need to be alerted once more.
