I was born into a wild Vietnamese/Puerto Rican family, which reflects my confusing personality. SUPER shy guy, but I love making people laugh.
Music has brought me to where I am today. With my pop being a DJ back in NY, and mother singing for the Vietnamese community, their stories rubbed off on me. I play various instruments, and throughout high school I Dj’d all the events with a basic mixer my pop got me. The Mixshow on 101.9 was my inspiration to how I’d spin in high school. My high school talent show started my hunger in music. I hosted the show, as well as wrote a crappy song with my guitar and choked on stage. To believe, my failure was my drive to want more.
Now, I am blessed to become a growing on-air personality for my generation on 101.9 AMP radio. Being in radio has kept me active and focused on my own music. I have Dj’d for some of Orlando’s upscale lounges and night venues, spinning House/Hip Hop/Top 40 Remix. You can also catch me with the AMP Street Squad spinning live at local remotes.
Through my love of music and odd family, I’ve learned to be humble and to appreciate the little things in life. I am beyond thankful to be where I am, but I’m even more excited for what is next to come.
