Magic Yarn Wigs Turn Kids With Cancer Into Superhereos

By Danie B

I just stumbled across the cutest thing ever on social media!

The Magic Yarn Project is an organization that makes knitted wigs to “turn” kids with cancer into superheros and Disney princesses.

According to ABC News, the whole thing started with Holly Christensen. She initially started the project after her friend’s daughter was diagnosed.

Since it’s humble beginnings more than 4,000 kids have been given princess and superhero wigs through Magic Yarn, and all the wigs were made by an all volunteer group of knitters from all over the world!
