Daily Dish For 8.10.17

Now you can eat Oprah’s food! She has joined with Kraft Heinz to make “O, that’s good,” a line of soups and side dishes.

Marketed as comfort food with a healthy twist, you can get items such as broccoli cheddar soup with butternut squash mixed in, mashed potatoes with cauliflower and creamy parmesan pasta with white bean puree.

Oprah was in fact involved in all of the recipe development in the test kitchen in Chicago. “It all started with the idea for the cauliflower mashed potatoes —  the twist is really what sparked this whole idea,” Winfrey said. “I was sitting at my table in my own home and had whipped up some cauliflower, trying to make myself think I was eating mashed potatoes, but it was not working. So I thought, ‘What if I used a portion of the mashed potatoes and added the cauliflower? Then, I would have a substantive mashed potato-cauli dish.'”

There will be 8 menu items and All eight items in the line will have no artificial flavors or coloring and 10% of the profit will go to charities working to reduce hunger. Prices are said to be set at $4.99 for the soups and $4.49 for the sides. Her ad campaign will be released Oct, but you can get her foods starting this week in select stores.

Taylor Swift is heading to court next week for her case against the Denver Dj that she says grabbed her inappropriately. Here is what we know about the case. Mueller sued Swift first

Back in 2015 after he said he was fired from his job and lost other business opportunities because of the allegations.

Taylor says she met Mueller after a show. She claims as they posed for a picture, he reached his hand up her dress and grabbed on to her butt cheek. She said, “ No matter how much I tried to scoot over, it was still there. It was completely intentional. I have never been so sure of anything in my life.”

Mueller says that his former boss, Eddie Haskell, was the one who allegedly groped Swift after the concert, claiming that he heard Haskell bragging about it, according to sources.

The Denver Post reported that Mueller was making a base salary of $150,000 when he was fired – not including bonuses, product endorsement fees and other public appearance fees. It is after that, that Swift counter sued. Both hit the courtroom next week.

Soon we could all be sashaying with Ru Paul on HULU. Rumor has it that the streaming network might pick up the drag Icons life story.

The series will revolve around Ru Pauls life before his famous years, his rise to stardom, and his story behind becoming such a strong voice for the LGBTQ community. There is no definite title as of yet, but the tentative title is QUEEN.  Ru Paul Andre Charles will executive produce the series along with writer Gary Lennon (The Mindy Project/Handmaid’s Tale).
