This past Saturday, I walked in the Guys With Ties 12th Annual White Party and Fashion Show.
The event happened at 180 SkyTop Lounge and was held to benefit Down Syndrome.
Now, I’ve addressed large crowds, made big speeches, but walking on a runway has to be the most nerve wrecking thing I’ve ever done!
What made this runway walk so intense was that I was paired with Claudia Guiterrez Smith, meaning I was modeling swimwear.
I had no issue with this until the actual day of.
I’d worked an event earlier in the day, so when I got home I was so hungry that I ate a plate full of leftover Chinese food. By the time I got dressed in my swimsuit, I was gassy and bloated! I honestly looked three months pregnant!
Luckily, by the time I hit the runway, I wasn’t as bloated, but still lesson learned!
Next time I’ll remember to eat nothing until AFTER I get off stage.
Check out the pics below!
When I agreed to step in as a model for this amazing @guyswithties event benefiting #DownSyndrome, I didn't know I'd end up naked! 💁🏾🙊It was all for a good cause though, so it was worth it!👍🏾Plus this @cgswimwear one piece is super cute! 😉👙 . . Thanks to everyone who came out to this amazing event, thanks to @justblowitorlando for the #hair and #makeup slay, and thanks to @all_legs22 for playing photographer! #Orlando #180SkyTopLounge #GuysWithTiesOrlando #fashionshow #AllWhiteEverything
