Orlando Companies Selling Rainbow Foods To Benefit Pulse Victims and Survivors

 

Orlando Weeklyย reports that there’s restaurants in the Orlando area taking part to help Pulse victims and survivors by selling rainbow themed foods for a limited time.

Here’s where you can get YOUR rainbow foods for a good cause:

  • Brooklyn Water Bagel -Winter Park and Lake Mary locations have been very busy making rainbow bagels in remembrance of the victims of June 12th. ALL proceeds from the bagel sales will go to THE BETTER TOGETHER FUND AT CENTRAL FLORIDA FOUNDATION.

  • Sugar Rush Marshmallows – They’ve been making a Pride-themed marshmallow just to benefit the families of the Pulse victims. $1 from the sale of the marshmallow – and the turquoise or red heart- shaped graham crackers will be donated to the local LGBTQ+ youth charities like ZEBRA COALITION.
    • You can find them at the Winter Garden, Lake Eola and Audubon Farmer’s Market.

  • Sweet! By Good Golly Miss Holly– Waterford Lakes bakery is making cupcakes with a Pride rainbow heart for Orlando United Day. The sweets benefit EQUALITY FLORIDA with 50% of proceeds going to that charity. They’re $3 each or $10 for a box of four of the treats.

  • Osprey Tavern – Pastry Chef, Kristy Carlucci created a rainbow cookie to benefit the Central Florida Foundation and the Better Together Fund. They’re available at Baldwin Park gastropub and cost $5 for three of the rainbow cookies or five of the tie-dyed cookies for $5.

  • Starbucks– Starting TODAY, there will be four colorful drinks: “The Beloved Pink Drink,” “Ombre Pink Drink,” “Matcha Lemonade” and “The Violet Drink.” 25 cents from each drink sold will be donated to the Born This Way Foundation.
    • Lady Gaga says, “Born This Way Foundation and I are so excited to partner with Starbucks to help inspire positivity and love through the Cups of Kindness collection.”
