ESPN reported that Tiger Woods was arrested on a DUI charge near his home in Jupiter, Florida. Woods said that it was not alcohol but an “unexpected reaction” to prescription medication.

“I understand the severity of what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions. I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn’t realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.”

He continued to say, “I would like to apologize with all my heart to my family, friends and the fans. I expect more from myself too. I will do everything in my power to ensure this never happens again.”

The Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout! ride at Disney’s California Adventure opened to the public Saturday and there’s tons of pictures showing the five hour wait time.

The ride replaced ‘The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror,’ so it still has those terrifying drops and it was transformed into the Collector’s (Benicio Del Toro’s eccentric Guardians of the Galaxy character) fortress. What used to be the lobby is now the main showroom for the Collector’s collection.

According to The Hollywood ReporterMemorial Day weekend revenue at the box office fell to its lowest level in 18 years or $176 million.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales was #1 and hauled $77 million from 4,276 theaters but it IS the lowest for any of the POTC movies. However, the same cannot be said for Baywatch, starring The Rock and Zac Efron.

Baywatch most definitely contributed to the box office sinking with a $70 million price tag. Critics are giving the movie tons of bad reviews and saying it was “under performed” thinking big actors like The Rock would save it but it didn’t.

It’s only been a few weeks since ABC announced that Katy Perry will be one of the judges on “American Idol” with a $25 million payday. Rumors are that they’re trying to have Ryan Seacrest come back and host but apparently he is unhappy with the offer he received.

He reportedly was offered $10 million to come back but with Perry being offered $25 million, they will have to renegotiate.
