Don’t own a pet? What are you waiting for? Maybe a recent study by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention will convince you to adopt today because it looks like owning a pet makes us happier and healthier.
The study finds that pets can:
- Lower blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and triglyceride levels.
- Decrease feelings of loneliness.
- Get you outside for more exercise.
- Help you make new friends.
Yep…we’ve all heard of the benefits of owning a fur baby, from better mental health to helping us socialize more.
