Study Suggests Kids Love Pets More Than Siblings


If you find that your kids seem a little closer to their pet than their sibling you’re not alone! According to a recent¬†study ¬†published in Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology, “children reported more satisfaction and less conflict with their pets than with their siblings.”

Looking back at my childhood I totally get it. As the youngest of seven I loved my pet cat mainly due to the unconditional love and that’s exactly what the study suggests.
