Katy Perry did more than just kiss a girl.
The 32-year-old pop singer was honored this weekend by the Human Rights Campaign, where she opened up about her conservative upbringing and sexuality, “I kissed a girl and I liked it…truth be told, I did more than that.”
Katy grew up singing gospel and going to “pro-conversion camps.” She would even attempt to “pray the gay away in Jesus camps.”
She obviously then eventually came out with her 2008 breakthrough single I Kissed A Girl and was openly supported by the LGBT community. She learned they were “the most free, strong, kind and inclusive people I haver ever met.”
Beauty and the Beast set a record with a $170 million opening in the U.S.
That’s the best opening for a PG movie, the previous record-holder was last year’s Finding Dory. It was also the best March opening for ANY movie.
All this success means Emma Watson is going to make $$$$! She has already been paid $3 million upfront, but depending on how well the movie does, she could pocket up to $15 million!
