Oprah for President in 2020?

Oprah Winfrey may be considering running for POTUS.

In an interview in the season two premiere of The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations, Oprah said, “I actually never thought — I never considered the question even a possibility…I thought, I don’t have the experience, I don’t know enough…Now I’m thinking, Oh.”

Let’s not get too carried away, though. Even though Oprah realizes she CAN be president, that doesn’t mean she WANTS to.

CBS negotiated with the show’s cast to get the show to return for two more seasons, which would be the show’s 11th and 12th. Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar and Simon Helberg have all agreed to take small pay cuts so that the actresses can get raises.

The original five stars were already making $1 million per episode each, while Mayim and Melissa were ‘only’ making $200,000 an episode, because they didn’t join the show until season 3.

A two-year, 48-episode renewal would give the five original cast members $43.2 million, while Mayim and Melissa would ‘only’ make $20.4 million.
