Lunch Habits That Make You Gain Weight


The easiest way to stay healthy is to pack your own lunch but if you don’t have time to do that, listen to what Oprah has to say!

These are the top 5 habits that make you gain weight:

  1. Eating with other people
    • Be mindful of how fast you’re eating and don’t worry about what others are eating, focus on you!
  2. Deciding what to eat at the last minute
  3. Having meetings or doing anything stressful right before lunch
    • Neuron¬†finds that if you have a stressful event before lunch, you’ll be less likely to eat healthy.
  4. Eating out of the container where your food came in.
    • Putting your food on a plate helps you portion control.
  5. Scrolling the internet and watching videos
    • According to Food Quality and Preference, being able to hear yourself chew reduces the amount of food you eat and if you have headphones in you can’t hear yourself chewing.
