There has been a great deal of controversy surrounding the Inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States.
A number of artists have publicly refused to take part in this weekend’s Inaugural festivities, and on the other hand, the artists that have agreed to perform have faced a great deal of scrutiny.
For instance, R&B legend Jennifer Holiday agreed to sing, but dropped out after dealing with intense criticism, death threats and internet trolling. R&B singer Chrissette Michelle is rumored to perform, and she’s been facing the same sort of harassment.
Well, Backstreet Boy, Brian Littrell told TMZ that the Backstreet Boys were asked through him to perform, and even though they turned it down because they’re in the middle of preparing for their Vegas show, his vote would have been yes.
Watch as Brian explains why he would have performed, and why everyone needs to just chill out.
