Miley Cyrus didn’t kick off last weekend with much to twerk about — burglars at her Los Angeles home saw to that.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Cyrus had personal property — including, most notably, her Maserati — stolen from her house in North Hollywood last Friday (May 30) afternoon. Police were called to the home around 4 p.m.
No one was home at the time, and the burglars — reportedly a man and a woman — also made off with jewelry in addition to the Maserati, for which the asking price of the base model in 2014 is over $100,000. The burglars had scaled a fence outside the property.
It’s the second time Cyrus’ home has been burglarized in the last few months.
The singer didn’t reference the break-in directly, but did tweet June 1 that she was “so f—-n homesick.”
