Lady Gaga Talks About Her Wild, Violent Nights At Roseland Ballroom

By Shannon Carlin

Lady Gaga has been given the honor of closing out the famed New York City venue, Roseland Ballroom with a 7-night residency that kicks off on March 28, which also just so happens to be her 28th birthday.

While Mother Monster hopes to make the soon to be extinct venue’s final run a memorable one, in an interview with New York’s 92.3 NOW (a station) she revealed one of her fondest memories of the concert hall. One that includes a mosh pit, a broken nose and a fake ID.

“Well, I actually went to see Franz Ferdinand at Roseland when I was just getting out of high school. And I broke my nose at the show because I got thrown into a mosh pit,” she explained. “And then I went to a bar with my girlfriends and I used my fake Delaware ID to get in and I was using a Bud Light to nurse my freshly broken nose. I had to lie to my mom and tell her that I walked into a door or something, but she knew what had occurred.”
