Miley Demolishes Competitors as ‘Bangerz’ Tops Billboard 200
No one could stop Miley Cyrus this week. As projected last week, the provocative pop star takes No. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week, selling 270,000 copies of her newest album, Bangerz, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
As it turned out, no one else even stood a chance. Bangerz tops the chart by nearly 200,000 units, putting Cyrus in a league of her own. It’s her third No. 1 album as Miley and fifth overall, with two soundtrack titles under the guise of Hannah Montana under her belt, according to Billboard.
