WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING TO DO WHEN YOU’RE NOT WATER SKIING?
My favorite thing to do when I’m not booting big jumps? Hitting up Daytona Beach and Cocoa Beach in attempts of catching some waves. Learning how to surf has been a blast! I pretty much love doing anything outside. If it’s outside, you name it, chances are I have done it!
NAME YOUR FAVORITE PLACE WATER SKIING HAS TAKEN YOU?
I lived in England for three weeks with my college roommate and I skied a few pro stops over there. What a blast! Hanging out in a totally different culture was awesome. Learning how to drive on the “wrong” side of the road was even more awesome! But a close 2nd is my most recent trip to Russia for the Worlds. Talk about a language barrier. But I had a blast learning the city with all my buddies.
TELL US AN INTERESTING FACT THAT MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU.
Wow, there’s not much people don’t know about me. But I used to wakeboard a lot in competition. Actually, he may not know this, but I beat a fellow Nautique rider, Bob Soven, way back in the day. Hopefully you’re reading this Bob… rematch???
WHAT ARE THE TOP THREE MOST PLAYED SONGS IN YOUR PLAYLIST?
April 29, 1992 – Sublime
In One Ear – Cage The Elephant
MmBop – Hansen
DO YOU HAVE A PRE-RUN ROUTINE YOU DO BEFORE CONTESTS FOR GOOD LUCK?
I personally prefer a nice book and a warm cup of tea. I really like to relax and curl up under a shady tree to envision myself on the water, or, hang around the dock with my buddies and pump each other up for a jump set. More often than not, choice two is usually what happens.
WHAT HAS BEEN THE BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT OF YOUR CAREER?
Signing with Nautique Boats for sure! It’s the boat I grew up behind and always had loyalty for. Being a part of the Nautique Team is awesome! Winning a few pro events, that’s a close second!
