R. Kelly’s new album, Black Panties, will be out November 11, his camp confirms to Radio.com.

The release date appears to have been low-key revealed at a recent listening session with Kellz, filmed by Revolt TV, which featured a backdrop emblazoned with “Black Panties 11.11.” As the R&B mainstay says in Revolt’s footage (below), his 12th album focuses in part on turning tragedy into triumph. “Much like the guy that catches the football, he runs,” Kelly explained. “I feel like I got that ball in my hands still, I’m still running.”

Kellz recently premiered the video for the album’s first single, “My Story” featuring 2 Chainz, with Kelly focusing on his journey from being broke in Chicago to “sleeping in Versace shirts.” Watch below.
