Millennials should know Hilary Duff like the kids of today know Miley Cyrus. She was the star of the hit Disney channel show, Lizzie McGuire, she had multiple movie roles, and a booming music career.

But can you believe it’s been 10 years since she released her debut album Metamorphosis?!

Let’s take a look back at some of Hilary’s most memorable songs.

“Come Clean”

The song that was the theme song to the hit television show on MTV that launched the careers of Lauren Conrad, Kristen Cavalari and Stephen Coletti. (The show also premiered 9 years ago).

“Wake Up”

“Wake Up” was where we saw the “turn” in Hilary. She was the Taylor Swift of the early 2000’s and this video was her being edgy. Which, came across as cute and it worked.

“So Yesterday”

This single was one of Hilary’s earliest singles and paved the way for larger hits [above]. It also was super catchy.

Of course, who could forget the massive hit “Sweet Sixteen” that MTV used in their reality series, “My Super Sweet 16″, which showcased lavish “sweet 16″ birthday parties from around the country.

Hilary is busy being a mom to her son Luca and wife to her husband who plays in the NHL. She doesn’t have an official date for her return to the music scene, but she confirmed via Twitter last year that she was recording her next studio album.
