Fall Out Boy Collab With Big Sean On “The Mighty Fall”

For a group that’s supposed to be “saving Rock & Roll,” Fall Out Boy are sure doing a lot of collaborations with hip hop artists. This isn’t their first time dealing with rappers though. Jay Z was featured on the intro to their 2007 Infinity on High album, Kanye West was featured on the remix to their hit single “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race,” and 2 Chainz is featured on the remix of their current single “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark.”

Their ties to the Roc Nation/G.O.O.D. Music family continue here as they collaborate with G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean. Take a listen to “The Mighty Have Fallen:”

The song is pretty cool, and I like it, but as you can see by the comments, a few diehard fans aren’t feeling it. I love when different genres of music collaborate, because you usually get a sound that you’ve probably never heard before. What do YOU think of this collab of hip hop and rock? Hit the comments and let me know or tweet me @itsMeanJean.
