Snoop Lion Reloads With Drake And President Obama For ‘No Guns’ Video

Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg) has released the video for his new reggae-tinged single, “No Guns Allowed.” While Drake and Snoop’s daughter Cori B appear on the song, a clip of President Barack Obama helps sell the anti-gun message.

The video opens with a snapshot of President Obama, who is giving a speech at the memorial for the Newton, Connecticut shooting victims, in which a gun-wielding assailant killed 20 children and six adults.

“We are gather here in memory of beautiful children,” Obama says, opening the video that includes clips of live news footage of the aftermaths of massacres worldwide.

The song dropped in March as legislators in Washington, DC were taking aim at gun reform. Snoop fired off the video on Tuesday (April 2), as a bipartisan legislative task force in Connecticut has come to an agreement on the state’s gun laws.
