The Weeknd At House Of Blues

Last night The Weeknd played a sold out show at House of Blues Orlando! I usually don’t get excited about going to concerts but for some reason I was very antsy to see The Weeknd perform live. I’ve heard a few different things about his live performances in the past so I didn’t really know what to expect. He definitely exceeded my expectations though and played every single song I wanted to hear live during his hour and 15 minute set. The crowd sang along to every single word and when he played his current single ‘Wicked Games’ you could barely hear him singing because the fans were so loud. Be sure to tune into 102 JAMZ to hear The Weeknd on the radio, it’s a very surreal feeling especially if  you’re a big fan like me. If you’re not a fan already, you should get familiar with this guy… he’s the future of music.

The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, is from Canada and just recently signed to Universal Republic to release his first album called, Trilogy. The album is a compilation of 3 of his mix-tapes that have created a huge buzz for him as an artist the last few years. You may have also heard him featured  on Drake‘s song ‘Crew Love’.
