Tropical Storm Isaac is continuing it’s trek towards the Louisiana coastline with a landfall expected by tomorrow evening near New Orleans as a Category 1 or 2 hurricane.
As of the 11am advisory, the maximum sustained winds were still 65 mph with gusts of 75 mph, movement is to the NW at 13 mph.
The models take the storm ashore near the mouth of the Mississippi River in coastal Louisiana and perhaps bringing drought relief to the parched Midwest.
The Tropical Storm Watch for the Orlando area has been allowed to expire, however, Tornado warnings are still possible throughout the day as well as minor flash flooding in rain bands.
