Despite his global stardom, enormous bank account and fancy wheels it seems not every father wants Justin Bieber in his daughter’s life.
In a 90-second clip for Bieber’s upcoming music video “As Long As You Love Me,” actor Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Sin City) plays a tough father who simply wants the Biebz to disappear.
“Listen kid, my daughter is everything. She needs me as much as I need her. That means some day I have to let her go and when I do she needs to be with a man, not a boy. Which is what you are,” Madsen says at the video’s start.
Trying to win over his girl’s father Bieber confesses, “I love her.” But her father isn’t convinced.
“Yeah sure you do. I know what type of guy you are. Once upon a time I used to be the same thing,” Madsen said. “Know what that means? That means one day you’ll leave her for somebody else and break her heart and that can’t happen.”
The video then flashes back to screaming matches and what looks to be a fight between Justin and the father before a note is spotted on the ground which reads, “Meet me at the train station tonight at 11:00.”
“I don’t want to know you. You need to get in your car and leave and don’t come back. Because if you do, it’s not going to be good for you,” the father said.

In what looks to be Bieber driving the getaway car with his girlfriend in the passenger seat it’s not clear what happens at the video’s conclusion. Fans will just have to wait for the complete “As Long As You Love Me” release this Wednesday to find out.
This isn’t Madsen’s first role in a music video. In 2001, the actor appeared in Michael Jackson‘s 13-minute music video for “You Rock My World.” The short film also featured Chris Tucker, Marlon Brando and Billy Drago. Years later he was also cast in Every Time I Die’s “Kill the Music.”
