While the majority of us were spending July 4th of this year shooting off fireworks and gobbling down hot dogs and hamburgers, Sean Kingston spent a large part of the day in his L.A. home getting a brand new tattoo to add to his collection of body ink.
And it wasn’t just any tattoo. It was an extremely large, very detailed replica of the Mario Kart video game that he had placed on his right arm.
TMZ reported on the ink job after it happened, revealing that it took over 5 hours to complete and cost a whopping $1,2500. When Kingston dropped by 102 JAMZ last week, Melony Torres wanted to know exactly what prompted him to put a replica of the moustachioed Mario on his arm.
“I’m a huge fan of Mario, you know what I’m sayin’,” Kingston explained. “I grew up on Mario, like Luigi and everybody. So I had to get it. I love Mario. Mario Kart is dope!”
