Sanford Teacher Suspended For Playing ‘Rack City’ In Class

Heather Michelle New, a teacher at Crooms Academy of Information Technology in Sanford, has been suspended for 5 days for playing Tyga’sRack City’ and a Jay-Z song during one of her lessons last week. She didn’t appear to give a reason as to why she was playing the music in the first place, but she did admit that she turned off ‘Rack City‘ after 10-20 seconds of it playing. She will be serving a 5 day suspension without pay. The school also commented that they wont’ be renewing her contract for the next school year.
