J.Cole Gets His Own Official “Dreamville Weekend”

This past weekend in Fayetteville, North Carolina, [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]J. Cole[/lastfm]’s hometown, they held an inaugural “Dreamville Weekend” in honor of his success. The weekend consisted of 3 full days filled with festivities for all his hometown fans.

The three-day event was something that was really geared toward the youth in hopes of inspiring young people. He even visited his old high school, Terry Sanford High, to talk to the students and motivate them.  He also hosted a special dinner with some celebrity friends and joined the mayor for the announcement  of the official “J. Cole Day.” Overall I think [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]J. Cole[/lastfm] stands as a positive role model in the music industry and others should follow in his foot steps.
