Just over three years ago, Chris Brown‘s altercation with Rihanna shocked the music world. After his Grammy win for Best R&B Album and two live performances this weekend, many musicians took to Twitter with their thoughts.
While Miranda Lambert and Michelle Branch expressed their disgust with Brown, The Roots’ Questlove showed forgiveness for the R&B artist.
Trying not to go off on a rant but…Chris Brown…*bites tongue* have we forgiven him? #Grammys

Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.

Everyone deserves a second chance. Congrats Breezy.

As the social media world continued to respond, Brown shared harsh words for his critics in a Twitter rant Sunday night (which have since been deleted).
“HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F*** OFF!”

In light of the Chris Brown buzz, the vividly detailed police report of his altercation with Rihanna is making the rounds again.
Next week, Rihanna will debut a full-length version of “Birthday Cake” from her album, Talk That Talk. Co-producers Da Internz told MTV News, “It’s gonna be crazy. And the feature on there is gonna shock the world.”
Some have speculated this might mean a Chris Brown and Rihanna collaboration, especially after the two were spotted backstage at the Grammys together.
Just before Grammy dress rehearsal, Rihanna posted a quote from The Notebook on Twitter.

What do you think? Would you like to see them collaborate?
