World Aids Day And It’s Impact On Hip Hop Today

The strides being made everyday in the fight against Aids has impacted the Hip Hop community the same as the rest of the world. And on this day we take the time to reflect on those lost and the lives affected by this deadly disease.

According to Hiphopwired.com:

In acknowledgement of today being World Aids Day, we reflect on its impact in Hip Hop Culture [More] and remember [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Eazy E[/lastfm]. A controversial and iconic figure, Eazy E lost his fight with AIDS on March 26th 1995.

While medical advancements are being made each day, we still have no cure for this deadly disease over 15 years later. It’s important that we all protect ourselves, and each other. Be Safe, Be Smart, Get Tested!

We all know someone who’s life has been changed by this deadly disease whether directly or indirectly. And we must never get the growing impact of Aids around the world.
