102 JAMZ got restless with the natives when Busch Gardens brought some of it’s creepy crawlies to the station for a visit with Jay Love and to talk about the new Howl-O-Scream The Dark Side of the Gardens scare event. Ironically, they weren’t too much wilder than the animals that are generally tearin’ up things ’round here (shout out to Jay Love, DJ Nasty, DJ D Strong, the Street Squad and the rest of 102 JAMZ).
Speaking of us wild animals, DJ D Strong and the JAMZ Squad took some time to go visit The Dark Side of the Gardens at Busch Gardens, Tampa to check out the scare zones for ourselves. I’ve got to say, Busch Gardens really pulled out the stops for this years’ Howl-O-Scream events. They’ve added 3 new-haunted house attractions and have improved their scare theme by expanding the theme to include multiple scare icons of a similar theme (zombies). I’d heard the 2011 Howl-O-Scream event was getting rave reviews and having experienced it first hand, I see why.
Although he’ll never admit it, I know D Strong was just as spooked as I was. We both hate zombies so the Zombie Mortuary was definitely a scare zone that lived up to some of our worst fears. It was a bit amusing to see him sweat it but the fact is, I was watching my back, front and sides the whole time as well.
If scaring yourself stupid is your ‘thing’, Howl-O-Scream Dark Side of the Gardens is a stop you definitely want to make this year! Tickets are available online and 102 JAMZ has your chance to win tickets as well. Click here to find out how you can win your tickets on 102 JAMZ, and make sure to visit The Dark Side of the Gardens.
