VIDEO: T.I. Talks BET Hip Hop Awards, Upcoming VH1 “Documentary” And More – Here FIRST

A day after his release from the Dismas Charities Atlanta halfway house – preceded by a 10-month stint in an Arkansas federal prison for violating the terms of a previous supervised release – [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]T.I.[/lastfm] gave his first interview to V-103’s The Ryan Cameron Show Friday.

Before playing the world premiere of his new single “I’m Flexin” (featuring and produced by [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Big K.R.I.T.[/lastfm]), he talked about his especially-curious ties to the BET Hip Hop Awards (taping tomorrow at the Atlanta Civic Center, and airing Oct. 11) and his upcoming VH1 “documentary” (as he called it); introduced his youngest child Major to Ryan Cameron and Elle Duncan; and promised the fans since his 2001 debut that he was going to get back to who he was when he started.

With this qualifier: “I’ve got to err on the side of caution.”

Otherwise, “I’m cool. I’m Gucci!”
