Awww… Friends 4E!

[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm] and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Jay-Z[/lastfm] are going on tour!!! You knew this already because we announced it on the site last week. If there is one tour you definitely do not want to miss, it’s this one. Rap music’s two biggest superstars sharing the stage… it’s ’bout to be on and POPPIN’.

That said, the preparations for this tour have not gone off so seamlessly…

As you super fans may have heard, there was a little bit of beef between ‘Ye and Hov. Apparently, Kanye wants this tour to be one giant [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Lady Gaga[/lastfm]-esque production. Now, as someone who has seen Kanye in concert, I can confirm this. His stage production has always been huge and the audience seems to love it.

On the contrary, Jay wants to keep things a lil’ more low key. Obviously, it’s gonna be a stadium tour, but he doesn’t need that much production. Honestly, Jay-Z could walk onto a stage by himself, mic in hand, and wow the crowd. When freakin’ Jay-Z is on stage, you stop live tweeting the concert like you did during Kanye’s set, and you rock with him.

It seems now that the beef has been squashed as they were seen being quite chummy at the listening party for their hotly anticipated new album, Watch The Throne, this past week.

The latest drama regarding the tour involves the length. Last week, it was reported that the rap superstars had to add additional dates to the tour, due to popular demand. Now, the tour is starting a month later than expected, and it’s a shorter tour.

Here’s the new tour schedule:

10-30 | Greensboro, NC – Greensboro Coliseum
11-01 | Baltimore, MD – 1st Mariner Arena
