In what had to be one of the most unusual things to happen so far in the Casey Anthony trial, Matthew Bartlett, a 28-year-old server at the Mall of Millenia T.G.I. Fridays location, was found to be in contempt of court for displaying to prosecuting attorney Jeff Ashton what Judge Belvin Perry referred to as the “middle finger of gratitude”. We wanted to find out what made Bartlett, who was sentenced to six days in jail and ordered to pay a fine of $400 and court costs over $200, commit such a disrespectful act.
