Every day our man Nick Cannon covers off on the hottest music, movies and stars of pop culture. Come back each day for a list from Nick as part of Cannon’s Countdown.
It’s almost Father’s Day, Ballers. As you know, I’m new to this fatherhood thing. I gotta say, except for the fact I haven’t slept in two months, it’s amazing! I can’t wait for my first Father’s Day as an actual dad.
Also, I love a good gift, and Father’s Day is all about giving your dad some love… and gifts… and more gifts… and maybe even some more gifts. Hint. Hint.
5. iTunes Gift Card
At some point the new dad needs to put down the “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and grab some sweet jamz. He’s probably been too busy changing diapers and burping babies to catch up on all the hits on Cannon’s Countdown. A gift card can help him easily get back into his groove… or if he wants to get his laugh on he should check out my album Mr. Showbiz currently available through iTunes too.
4. Grab A Nap
They look crazy, but these suckers actually work. Could I get one for adults? I’m a big fan of paisley.
3. Pee Pee Tee Pee
Mo has crazy aim. I can’t tell you how man times I’ve almost lost an eye. You can buy these Pee Pee Tee Pees anywhere. I found some over at Amazon. They even have adorable little airplanes on them. Chuga, chuga, ew, ew!
2. Noise Canceling Ear Phones
Babies cry… a lot. Give the new dad in your life a little break from the the teething, feeding and colic screams by buying him a pair of noise canceling headphones. Everyone needs a couple minutes of peace and quiet. These Beats By Dre are available at Best Buy.
1. A Day With His Kids
Every new dad struggles to juggle the duties of fatherhood with work and everything else going on in his life. I know from experience. So for Father’s Day, the best gift you could ever give a father is some quality time with his kids. So, grab your children, turn the off TV, computer, cell phones off and hang out for the afternoon.
Maybe even make a crazy video, like this wild family.
That’s all from Papa Nick for today. Have a great weekend with your favorite Dad!
