Singer Sean Kingston Severely Injured In Watercraft Accident In Miami

Reggae singer and performer [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sean Kingston[/lastfm], 21 yrs old, was involved and severely injured in a watercraft accident that occurred this past Memorial Day weekend in Miami, Florida. The singer is currently being treated in the intensive care unit at a local Miami-Dade hospital.
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sean Kingston[/lastfm] and a unidentified female passenger were injured when the singer’s jet ski crashed into a Miami bridge that connects Palm Island and the MacArther Causeway. Kingston and the female passenger were pulled from the water and rescued by a boater.
The reggae singer was rushed to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition being treated in the trauma unit at Ryder Trauma Center. [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Sean Kingston[/lastfm] was moved to ICU at Jackson Memorial Hospital early Monday after being listed as stabilized. Kingston’s publicist Joseph Carozza released a press release stating that Kingston’s family is grateful for everyone’s prayers and support.
Currently there are no specific details that have been released about the cause of the accident, however investigators are saying that alcohol did not play a part. Sean Kingston’s industry friends took to twitter to extend their support for the singer.
