Today is the day Maimi residence hit the voting places to decide on who will win the mayoral race there and [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Uncle Luke [/lastfm]has his fingers crossed. He ran his campaign the best he could with the least amount of money amongst all the candidates and some heated debates.

Uncle Luke At NAACP Mayoral Debate
About a week ago, a NAACP debate at the New Birth Baptist Church in Miami took place, where Luke Campbell and seven other Mayoral candidates participated.
Things between Luke and mayor candidate Mr. Wilbur “Short Stop” Bell got a little heated, after Campbell make a statement that candidate Julio Robaina is using his influences to buy off other black candidates.
“In my opinion, I think Mr. Robaina bought off Mr. Bradley, Mr. Gimenez is too nice to buy off anybody, so I think Mr. Bell is bought off by Mr. Robaina as well. See ’cause Mr. Robaina got a lot of money. He can buy off everybody up here but me,” Campbell said.
It’s not clear exactly what Luke said directly to Bell, but it doesn’t appear like the former 2 Live Crew member was inviting him over for Sunday dinner.
The Miami-Dade candidates are apparently feeling the pressure.
Elections for Miami-Dade mayor take place today (May 24).
Good luck to Luke Campbell, but don’t hurt anyone if you don’t win.
I really don’t know how much of a chance he has at winning? But at least he didn’t sit on his hands and do nothing.
