Photos: Kanye West Brings His “Dark Fantasy” To Coachella
[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Kanye West[/lastfm] closed out Coachella with one of the most theatrical sets ever witnessed. While most critics thought his “Dark Fantasy” video was wild, the opening of his Coachella performance took his art and showmanship to a whole new level. Did you miss it? Want to relive the desert adventure? We have exclusive picts right here!
Kanye started his set by singing “Dark Fantasy” as he flew over the ignited audience on a futuristic crane while a throng of modern dancers went wild on stage.
He then worked his way through the at capacity crowd and made it to stage. The rap superstar went into some of his biggest hits including “Jesus Walks” and “Can’t Tell Me Nothin.”
When it was time to sing “Monster” Kanye brought out one of his favorite collaborators [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Bon Iver[/lastfm]. A member of the Twitterverse said it best:
Watching Kanye West at Coachella. Saturated reds and a fog machine for "Monster." Perfect.—

The true showman ended the night performing almost all of his hits including “Love Lockdown,” “Heartless” and “All Of The Lights” among fireworks. As he wrapped up, he thanked his fans for sticking with him during his career highs and lows. It was the perfect way to close the best music festival of the year.
