Lil Wayne is fresh off his jail term and ready to reclaim his spot atop the rap game in his latest collaboration with Birdman, remixing his hit track “Fire Flame”.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lil Wayne[/lastfm] has been missing from the rap scene for a while now, since serving his jail sentence for weapons possession charges. It seemed like Weezy had never left as he released several music videos and a brand new album over that time, keeping him relevant among fans and competitors.

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Birdman[/lastfm]’s latest single, “Fire Flame”, serves as the first track to be remixed by Weezy since his release and has already spawned this brand new video.

The clip is pretty high-priced as it features actual fire flames and beautiful women, which is normal in a Cash Money/Young Money music video. It’s pretty hilarious how in the middle of the video there is a slow motion dramatic scene of Weezy and friends looking as if they are chanting something important in some sort of montage. In all the video is good and enjoyable to watch, so it deserves a 7 out of 10. The remix is a definite improvement from the original video – probably because it needed Weezy… sorry Birdman.

Also, Lil Wayne recently jumped on an unofficial remix to [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Nicki Minaj[/lastfm]’s track “Roman’s Revenge” and it’s definitely a banger.
