Happy Birthday to Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr.

Yes, Brooklyn born [lastfm]Busta Rhymes[/lastfm] did once have a normal life like the rest of us humans.  Representing a Jamaican-American heritage the rapper, songwriter, and actor Busta has come quite a long way to reach the prestigious throne we are so familiar with seeing him on.

[lastfm]Chuck D[/lastfm] of [lastfm]Public Enemy[/lastfm] gave him the name [lastfm]Busta Rhymes[/lastfm] after former NFL wide receiver George “Buster” Rhymes. Busta got his start as a member of the rap set [lastfm]Leaders of the New School[/lastfm] at 16. His seventh studio album, The Big Bang, was the first number-one album of his career.
