Bravo and True Entertainment (prods. of The Real Housewives of Atlanta), in partnership with The Writing Camp (songwriting team behind such songs as Beyonce’s “Halo” and Rihanna’s “SOS”) are casting Hitmakers, a new competition series to find America’s next great songwriter. Producers state: “Behind every pop song, R&B sensation, rock hit, and country superstar, there are hitmakers.” Donna Goodrow, Sam Kivi, Jesse Tannenbaum & Erin Tomasello, casting. Shoot dates TBD.
Seeking—“Hitmakers”: male and female, must be at least 18+, creative, with original ideas, who know how to write music that appeals to the masses, seeking talented songwriters who can also sing and perform their own songs, mutli-faceted songwriters who are able to write their own original music, great voice and star quality a plus. Producers state: “We welcome musicians from all types of backgrounds and genres to audition for the show. Can you turn a hook, a concept, lyrics, and a melody into a multi-platinum hit?
